Stargazing- By Molly Poem by Olly and Molly Tsi

Stargazing- By Molly

They say our fate is held in the stars
Tiny silver pinpricks
That decide our future
But what do the stars care
Of us mortals
So distant
Lives passing in the blink of an eye
Civilisations rising
Falling
While the stars look coldly on
But not all are so unmovable
Some regret their lonely immortality
They don't dictate our fate
But watch over
Not as cold and distant
As their brethren
But caring
Almost loving
And when I look into your eyes
I know the best of the stars
Live among us
