Stars Foretell, Men Must Spell Poem by Aniruddha Pathak

Stars Foretell, Men Must Spell

Tell, stars, what ye wish to foretell—
What fate for earthlings you've in store.

Well, future always does spell well
To those that play at Nature's shore.
Long has ye man mindlessly erred,
Heeding to no warning flares flared—
In peril, in prosperity,
Unmindful of adversity,
Take care, O man, your affluence
Has let loose tonnes of effluence!

Stars to planets only foretell,
But ye earthlings still have to spell.
An if disaster does still spell,
Be thou warned, the stars did foretell.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Nature has given mankind enough warnings. But from what is going on still in the world, this little piece seems a call in wilderness.
