Stars Under One Roof Poem by Patrick Akhudu

Stars Under One Roof

I'll show you around, buddy.
This guitar was dad's lifeline;
With his magical fingers,
He made mellow music.

His strumming on its strings
Minted so much money!
So he sustained our lives.
May the maestro rest in peace!

Here smiles mum's music album.
Her voice brought mega bucks!
Together we trotted the globe.
She now sings in heaven.

Are you a football fanatic?
My big bro is balling big!
His bold and golden boots
Fill his coffers with crazy cash!

Behold, my sister's crazy collection!
Shapely shelves of dancing shoes;
The dance flow is her forte,
Her fulfilling fortune maker.

And now my star studded studio!
Colours, contours, collages...
Forms and reflection beyond life.
My art is passion that pays!

Don't mind that messy mate;
That's baby bro hot on my heal.
I love to let him learn his way
Into the land of the legends.
