Starstruck Poem by Logan Jorgensen

Starstruck

Rating: 2.5

A million stars up in the sky

Floating in the night

Imagine if we could all fly

See them all, we might

I thought alone inside my brain

The stars were coming near

They fell on Earth in pouring rain

The lonesome moon, a single tear

Endless worlds and stars expand

Our world a tiny dot in space

All the planets hand in hand

The endless sky, a cold embrace

I turn my eyes up to the stars

I realize they're so far; so far

Very nice, Logan. The stars look so close, but there really are far, far away. You have expressed it well. Welcome to Poem Hunter!
