Regardless Poem by Logan Jorgensen

Regardless

Rating: 5.0

Regardless of skin

Regardless of race

Everyone deserves a place

Regardless of life

Regardless of death

Everyone deserves a breath

Regardless of rich

Regardless of poor

Everyone deserves some more

Regardless of war

Regardless of peace

Everyone deserves a piece

In this wondrous world of ours

Everyone deserves a place.

I think you have some very good thoughts in this poem. I also think that, as a general rule, there is no need to leave an extra blank line between every written line of the poem, but I guess that is a matter of personal preference. I have done that myself on rare occasions when the poem was very short, and when I didn't want the readers to see the next line too soon. If the poem has more than one verse, leave a blank line between each verse, but otherwise it is better to have writing on every line. Just my own humble opinion.

An insightful call for universal brotherhood of man, well articulated and nicely penned with conviction. A lovely poem indeed. Thanks for sharing Logan.
