State Of Calamity Poem by Yan Lee

State Of Calamity

In the silent of the night
all i hear is the sound laughter
the sound of children playing
a wishful thinking to be in that troop again
To relate a teenage
feeling full of uncertainties
the qualms of that phenomenon
pervert used to influence you
the figment of imagination
used to bother though
saying i love it too
the peer pressure
then at times belittling of one's capacity
trying to be to cool at all times
ready to seize a momentum
hoping every friendship to last
constitutes a staggering memory in the past...
