Stay Poem by Sarrah Ibrahim

Stay

When it all comes crashing down,
Not a thread held in tow,
Y'let it all flow,
A tear for every pain and sorrow,
Dreams once so high in a furrow,
Fears of tomorrow.

Shadow beings were once you,
Ceasing to exist in believing to persist,
Torn, preserver or disappear
Everything is wrong,
Nowhere to belong.

There's always magic within,
Hidden when hope is thin, no one listens no kin,
Empowers you to heal and wound in equal measure,
Set it free in times of pressure,
You are someone's treasure.
