Stay Awhile
The day folds in, the birds return home
The sun sets, back from its daily roam.
The weatherman comes calling
Springs into autumns turning
The boy becomes the man, the man old
The stay ends, to return to the deadly Cold.
So little achieved, so much undone
So much to see, yet to have some fun.
Oh stay awhile, relentless Traveller
Lemme cherish some of your lovely grandeur.
The Now is all that is there
The very next it is smoke somewhere.
Our time here's a lightning flash
Don't tarry it away, be bold n brash.
