Steal Away Poem by Dorsey Baker

Steal Away

thickness of thought
your mind is
traveling at a high
rate of speed
both in darkness and light
you fear no shame
nor deny your nakedness
you can tell the truth
without words
because actions speak
loud and clear
your eyes flooded with emotion
begin to drown
and disappear from sight
the revelation is a reality
your face cannot hide
when morning comes
to steal away
the darkness of night!
