STEM - Science Technology Engineering Mathematics

My interest in STEM
Stems from the fact
That mankind's roots
Became deep rooted to Planet Earth
With the invention of fire
And the invention of the wheel
And the evolution of mankind and womankind
Brought with it a will to learn more
And to use the knowledge
For our progress
If Copernicus had said the sun is the centre of the universe
Galileo seconded this proven belief
Newton changed the foundation of science
As did Da Vinci
If Newton laid the ground rules of physics and math
Da Vinci mapped the human body
Millions of engineers and scientists
Built the surface of the earth
Into the world it is today
STEM-oriented and intelligent
Literary and skillful
Artistic and creative
Legal and lawful
Culturally diverse
But single minded in its goal and determination
To learn more, live well and to procreate.
