Still Growing Up Poem by Mantu Mahakul

Still Growing Up

Rating: 5.0

We,
We see,
Gradual uplifting,
This branch does,
Beside highway of city,
We see integrity of course
Growing wild beside highway,
This wild little tree in shrubbery,
Giving rise to a beautiful stem,
This whispers to welcome visitor.
Having no fragrance, no nectar,
Still this is doing perseverance,
In summer and also in winter in love
Flowers have blossomed in a branch.
Green leaves accompany buds,
Every bud has to bloom soon.
Visitor riding his vehicle of body,
He waits here to hear whisper,
God has kept secret message,
Everyone must learn in lifetime.
Still to grow up in wisdom,
Wee have to learn more,
As beside this highway,
This shrub is growing,
We have to grow,
More taller,
In hopes,
We feel.
We.
