Still I Wonder Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Still I Wonder

Rating: 5.0

Forever you were and still I wonder
Why could I not catch the cloud's thunder?
Wish I could understand the true feelings?
I am prepared to move if you care and still willing?

I will never down myself in misery
I shall learn to live with adversary
Peace and calm is all that necessary
I shall ask her to come in life and marry

I have dreamed a lot about her
She was waiting for me and always there
I could make the face reading and understand
She meant a lot to me as nice friend

I need not interpret what did she say in past
It may be some times back when we had met last
It was making very clear what we had in mind
What was in store for us to compromise and find?

I had all faith and belief
It gave me long awaited relief
She had no reason to regret
Life was allowed to move smooth or let

I waited for more sweet moments
You were very hard to offer for any comments
Your lips could swim many times in air
The wind could easily lift bunch of your hair

I thought of being so lucky up to that level
I wanted to murmur and whisper to marvel
I sensed some sort of enlightenment in company
She was readily waiting for me to accompany

The cuckoo never fascinated me for her voice
She might have been liked by many because of no noise
Your aired music in ears like lovely beats
It was caught up with attention as achieving feats

I had not struggled hard or clashed with thoughts
I had not entered any wrangles or unnecessarily fought
You made me to understand every word that was spoken
It had its essence and meaning without being mistaken

It forced me to think only best part of the side
Even though the differences may remain very wide
Some thing could be compromised now and even later
It may prove worth while and some times may prove better
I wish her to respond to my beautiful songs
Add some sweetness and remove any wrongs
It may enlighten anybody’s feelings and behold
Invite the close one to come near and tightly hold

It may speak nice for all whose who are concerned
They have not seen the death but always mourned
The deepness and closeness not experienced but always felt
All hardness and bitterness as snow starts to melt
