Still It Gives Me Flowers Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Still It Gives Me Flowers

My friends advise me sincerely
To uproot my flower tree,
As they think it is old and feeble
And can no longer give flowers to me.
But I oppose firmly,
As I myself feel in my great eyes that
My tree is still young and effective
And it always enriches my soul with beautiful and sparkling flowers.
Dear mates! You will never understand
The value of my friendly tree,
As for this you need profound inner vision,
For me my great tree is rich and affluent forever.
