Stolen Childhoods: Sweat Shop Factories Poem by Terence George Craddock

Stolen Childhoods: Sweat Shop Factories

many are images
of skinny small girls
labouring on machines
noise sowing machines
in sweat shop factories
working long cruel days...

never is heard sound of bees
flying to beautiful wild flowers
never is felt summer sunshine on hair
never is felt warm sunshine on face
never is heard child laughter at play
work work work fills every hour every day...
