Life goes by so quickly
And sometimes we forget
To simply stop and enjoy
So there will be no regrets
Just sit on the porch in summer
And watch the sun go down
Makes me smile so peacefully
It always replaces a frown
Listen to the windmills
Oh what a peaceful sound
Whirling above a wheat field
And sweetest noise around
Stop and enjoy the horses
As they graze out in the fields
Munching grass and clover
A new crop will start to build
As each new season arrives
New senses too are employed
We just need to take the time
To always stop and enjoy!
