Stormy Thoughts Poem by Phil Soar

Stormy Thoughts

There's a storm about to hit our street
Where wind and rain and sadness meet
It means I might just stay indoors
Put my day on a kind of pause
I hope that it won't last the night
Until the next day's morning light
The days are short, and so is the mood
And all I do is eat more food
My shape is all too soon a mess
And scares me when I get undressed
I look in the mirror and all I see
Is an overweight old O.A.P.
