Strange Bedfellows Poem by Way Lenn

Strange Bedfellows

Rating: 5.0

Stop covering up.
This blanket agreement. Cotton mouth!
I tried to speak with you today, you said something indecipherable;
Mumbled- maybe muffled words. Should I ask you again what you said?
Maybe this time your words will carry, like some sort of projectile, a message.
But they usually just dribble from your mouth,
And fall, on your bedfellows’ deaf ears.
I’ve lost them

This blanket agreement. Cotton mouth! 'something indecipherable; ' 'some sort of projectile, a message' 'just dribble from your mouth' kinda the opposite of spitting the words out another 10 Way Lenn
