Stranger In The Mirror Poem by Victoria Aquilina

Stranger In The Mirror

Rating: 5.0

I look in the mirror,
What do I see?
A stranger staring back,
I could not understand,
Was this really me,
I use to be so full of life,
What happened?
What went wrong?
That was then,
When he controled me,
When he was abusing me,
Now that's over.

I look in the mirror,
What do I see?
I see myself,
The way I use to be,
So full of life,
And so confident,
I am glad,
Glad to be back,
Back to my old self.

I'm glad your life is improving, it's all to easy to get trapped into bad situation.
