Strawberries
Strawberries, delicious,
Are among my favorite fruits.
They are simply alluring—
My taste buds to suit.
They are gorgeous in color—
A deep-crimson red.
As desert, I enjoy them—
Once dinner, I'm fed.
Strawberries are rich in fiber,
And in vitamin C.
They are also rich in iron,
But low in calorie.
Strawberries have no sodium,
And no cholesterol—
Yet they taste so good,
And are good for us all.
