From the way I see it, it is a poem about the courage of being yourself despite all the pressure and prejudice that come from outside..It's an inner fight, a perpetual question: Shall I dare to speak out my mind, or should I be silent, accumulate pressure and let myself devoured by depression? Which is the right thing to do?
