Stroll Through The Countryside Poem by Joseph T. Renaldi

Stroll Through The Countryside

Rating: 5.0

I strolled through the countryside
To merely look the scenery over.
I rambled through fields of new vegetation
Of sprawling grass and clusters of clover.

I marveled at what nature had created,
And was amazed at the majestic, mountain sight.
My troubled thoughts seemed to fade there -
It was quite an astonishing delight.

The fruit trees budding fresh with blossoms
All gloriously emerging in pink and white,
And bees in search of pollen and nectar,
A variety of birds in graceful flight.

I was impressed by nature's ardent display,
And cherish the moment of Spring's returning
With wild flowers laden with colorful petals,
My mind embedded with a deeper yearning.

A lovely word painting that seems to say, 'Welcome, eternal spring.' Take care. Warm regards, Sandra
