Strong Enough Poem by Stan Rodriguez

Strong Enough

Rating: 5.0

I am not who you need me to be—
you're strong enough
to handle whatever comes your way.

Think not of me as a crutch
but one who wants—needs you to success.

To fly on gossamer wings
propelling you to distant stars.

Climb those mountain
found deep within your subconscious mind
counting the menagerie—fish life within the many seas

and stop for coffee when you return
disclosing the many wonders that you've seen.

You are strong enough—to face all your fears
Yet, gentle enough—to love eternally.
