Heavenly Euphoria Poem by Stan Rodriguez

Heavenly Euphoria

Even in the darkest of December nights
stars brightly shine—in awe of the snow-white owl
hooting his songs of love
bringing in the season "of good will to men".

Silvery threads of brilliant light
guide the pawprints of fury animals
rushing home for the evening meal—
of berries, nuts, bark, and roots.

and in this winter's wonderland
here you are—holding tight
as we dance in our own heavenly euphoria.

May it never end.
