Stunted Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Stunted

Stunted in adolescence.
So sad to see them there.
Lead like sheep,
With no thoughts they keep.
Seeking to be entertained...
While remaining irresponsibly unaware.

Trapped and caged...
Growing older as they age.
Seeking approval for actions,
Found today...
Intolerable!

But these are the elders,
Who hid themselves in shelters.
Now they want to hangout...
To be accepted like the children.
And exchange with them,
Hop hop rap!
And getting 'down' with dirty mouths!
