Sublime Lady Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Sublime Lady

Rating: 5.0

Victorian court of blood
She beacons me like a talon
Spanish dancers with golden seas
The Doors are playing Love Street
Rimbaud has quit writing
Traditions have pillows of opium
Glide like the feathers of rabbits
Insane world must be forgotten
She invites me in
Violet gowns of Ann Rice

Her world is calm
Doorways to subspace
Pool of blue magic
Ancient bed of Ulysses
Kisses with purple masks
Her legs of pearl poetry
Edge of Byron
Wine of Solomon
Woman of Corinth
Her voice like Aphrodite in Paris

Easel with skeletons of Prague
Songs from the Hague
Vermeer paints her femme fatale
Orange chandelier lit with fire
Flowers from the renascence
Olive lamps of the sentinel
Stone lions begin to prowl
Fresco of Fellini
Her eyes gems of Greek wisdom
Sublime Lady lights a topaz candle
