Suburban Mother Poem by james watkin

Suburban Mother

For herself a heaven did make
Within as without.
Through love, garden-tender that spread
Child to clethra sprout.

Doubly pleasured; fulfilled twice o'er.
From each window side
As sunned on, and summer-warm
For whose smiling pride!
