Such Memory Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Such Memory

Rating: 5.0

No use to keep such memory
When I feel so sorry
No words to feel and no soul to touch
Grief and pain hurting me so much

What did you give me in early dawn?
Few moments of not my own
Just a tease and few tears
Not to remember it at all and bear

You did flood me with down pour
I felt dejected, painful and sore
You left like lion with roar
I was left behind sobbing in rear

You crushed me with your mighty hands
What could I do at the dying moments?
You were there to rejoice at victory
I had nothing left such as to feel sorry

It may be one sided story to tell
Sometimes it may prove like living hell
There is not much left to narrate
You can call it uncertain fate

I may live some more years
My ears may not credibly hear
Those sweet words from your mouth
As I may turn my face towards south

The sun may be heading towards west
After delivering all the good from east
It is left to us for realizing the good
The meaning behind it is clearly understood
