Suffering And Soaring Poem by Mohammad Mohi Uddin

Suffering And Soaring

The galling of an oyster begets a pearl
The pain of a mother gives birth a heir
Fire prepares food and gold
Burning removes sin and cold

Nightingale's Orphean music
Skylark's Divine song-
Originated from an acute grievance.
For Mose, Jesus, Muhammad
Misery brought-
Prophetic solemn coronet.

Anguish is a miraculous catalyst for one's repairing
Solely suffering is the authorised path for soaring.
