General Mills etal know the trick
Of selling that sugary stuff -
Use the term, fruit, lay it on thick,
Keep it all just legal enough,
So it passes technical test,
But lures the parent in the aisle,
To thinking they are doing best
For their kids, feeding fruit boxed style.
Of course the stuff is not real fruit,
Just artificial flavorings,
And dyes to aid in the pursuit
Of getting dupes to buy the things.
Junk sugar food tiz what it tiz,
Masquerading that fact's big biz.
