Suicide Night Poem by Ash Desrocher

Suicide Night

The screeching and splashing on this delicate night
Makes me shiver in the crisp fall wind
I stand tall with saddened eyes
A weary smile on my face
I thought about this moment many times
the note I cling onto in my pocket
I had written it in a hurry to explain why I arrived
On this stone structure over a flowing river
In the darkness light passing by
I can feel the tears in my eyes fall as a place the note down
On the ground, looking down now I sigh as I let the tears go
They deserved to fly like beautiful butterflies
How you might describe me now
I flew
I jumped
The story will forever be lost
Forever changing
It was the worlds fault.
