Suicide Note Poem by Kelsie Bell

Suicide Note

As the silver blades slid on my wrist
I think of everything on my death list
As the blade keeps cutting
the less I realize its something bad
As the pain takes over
and the tears keep going
I hear a voice
A voice I can't make out
I finally collapse with no feeling at all
no pain
no light
no nothing
What have I done, I commited suicide
There was no tomorrow
And no one cares that I am dead
That is why I ended my life

And now that you are dead and gone you're in a better place. You never have to fall in love or see a smiling face. You never have to see the sunrise on a brand new day. Or hear laughter from the children in the park as they all play. You never have to hear the birds each morning as they sing welcoming a new day 'cuz it just won't mean a thing. You're lucky that you're dead and gone because that special friend, the one that you were hoping for was right around the bend. You would have been so happy, but that would never do. So now that you are gone they can go find somebody new. My friend you are the lucky one I hope I've helped you see That all these things don't mean a thing I 'know you will agree.
