And now that you are dead and gone
you're in a better place.
You never have to fall in love
or see a smiling face.
You never have to see the sunrise
on a brand new day.

You're lucky that you're dead and gone
because that special friend,
the one that you were hoping for
was right around the bend.
You would have been so happy,

So now that you are gone

I hope I've helped you see
That all these things don't mean a thing
I 'know you will agree.
