Suicide Of Your Lips Poem by Sven Rhoads

Suicide Of Your Lips

Rating: 5.0

Everyday has been the same since I became alone
Sunrise to sunset I can feel myself slowly turning to stone
So let this dying man be granted one more wish
If I'm to slip away let me do it with the taste of your lips
I remember your nails slowly raking across my skin
Your very touch would set fire to my soul within
With my last breath I hope that you will not deny
If I'm to be lowered down let me feel the kiss of this suicide

Like a steady state of never ending decay
You were the drug that had kept me alive
I'd rather have the high of just one more day
Than to go on without you by my side

Everyday the cold just soaks deeper into my soul
These missing pieces inside will never become whole
So let me recede into this ecstasy like dream
You'll be the death of me but I wont scream
I remember how soft you were laying next to me
Your velvet skin that is now only a memory
These shadows bring me no comfort tonight
A room of walls that just swallows the light

Let me feel your kiss upon me once more
Instead of the cold steel to caress
Before I once and for all shut the door
Will you please take me down to eternal bliss

And if this kiss will be our last goodbye
Let it be the one I keep forever in my mind
