Summer - Poem by Jessica Keanrey

The hot sand exfoliating your feet
People walking on the beach
Walking the strip eating something sweet
Growing some summer peaches
Baithing in the sun
With a hot summer tan
Roasting like a bun
With my best friend Stan
Watching the people walk by
While the sun goes down
I begin to sigh
Not once with a frown
My face starts to glow
Like when i play in the snow
