Summer Rain Grey Banded Skies - Poem by Terence George Craddock (afterglows echoes of starlight)

cold still frost focused nights
inspires not summer wonders
summer warmth holds delights
summer heat smoking nights

wet rain spits streams down window
cold rain drops in splatter patter flow
persistent hum is rainfall upon iron roof
grey banded sky gives summer heat a hoof
