Little waves dance, a gentle sight,
The sea, a mirror, bathed in light.
Sun, a blush, as day grows dim,
Colors shimmer, on the ocean's brim.
Up there, in the north, a magic place,
Summer night, with the sun's embrace.
No dark descends, no sleep we can find,
As daylight lingers, left behind.
'We shall not sleep, ' the words resound,
A summer night, on hallowed ground.
The poet's song, a whisper soft,
In northern lands, we watch aloft.
