Summer's Last Day Poem by james watkin

Summer's Last Day

Drabbest of eve's gold-lit pools
Before rusting gate.
Farewell's tear-filled time and place
One could designate.
A day's. The last of summer's.
Turning back from now
Adding to the sentiment
Daisy-dropping cow.
