Sun, My Great Inspiration. Poem by Kanu Lawrence

When I feel down and lonely
I take out time to look up to the sky
As I patiently wait to see the time
the sun is coming out
like a newly wed bridegroom its face radiates
Smiling like an athlete who win an olympic gold.

I try so hard to catch this feeling
Feeling of empowerment and selfbelieve
as I reason to emulate this great entity
to be strong, overpowering and hopeful
after any stormy weather,
like the Sun it comes back to shine again.

Yes! I believe with this mentality
I will always rule my world.
