Sunday - Poem by katie

sunday was our day
no one else but us
in a house we would stay
watch the telley
or sit and talk all day
a day where both of us were free
we'd sing and play
untill you went into the army
now sunday is a day of prayer
so that you may return
and once again our day will be without care
so soldier come back, quick as you can
for my days are dull without your flair
i am but a person in dispair.
