Sunflower Poem by Janine Ecks

Sunflower

The Sunflower rotates to face the Sun,
Forever straining, reaching for a dream
That one day she may yet ingest him whole
And become of the Sun, and as the Sun.

Beautiful poem so eloquent in brevity.
