Sunrise
Just around the bend
In the eyes of a new friend
half-believing
bracing for another dead end
unable to mend
possibility defend
hardship and sadness blend
feelngs upend
helping hand lend
good wishes send
for ourselves fend
while we each tend
hopefulness pretend
We tell ourselves
Sunrise is just around the bend
second chances
life will never end
