Sunset Poem by Carmina Abrenica

Sunset

Rating: 4.5

Behind a ribbon of white clouds
The sun slowly faded
Hath not sadness reign
For it dispersed heavenly light
Tomorrow it shall come not in vain
After the darkness prevailed in sight

Behind a ribbon of white clouds
The sun slowly faded
Memories of the day it did bring
To the tune of the valleys and plains it'll sing
Hath not sadness reign
For it guides the angel's aimless wing

Behind a ribbon of white clouds
The sun shall steadfastly rise
It shall melt souls made of ice
And let them rejoice for a new life
The warmth of the rays shall make them realize
That the best things in life don't have a price

Beautiful rendition of words in an insightful descriptive poem written with conviction. Indeed, the best things in life don't have a price. Focussed and factual. Thanks for sharing Carmina.
