Sunshine Poem by james watkin

Sunshine

Everybody resorts to wading
A brilliacy like gold
With a consistency like steam.
Who are dry are cold!

Albino scales and temperaments
Grisly glow and swoon.
The unbroken course, foaming
Of a tidal afternoon.

- over opal empties out
Into oceanic night.
Pearl of pleiad, diamond cross
Fathomless but bright.
