Sunspot Shadows Poem by Mark Heathcote

Sunspot Shadows

Lead me love in sunspot shadows
and let me bathe in their light
let me soothe in their sorrows
let me burn in their night

Let me tease a violet-flower
and unveil a golden chalice
let me stow a new-tomorrow
in the garden of your palace

Let me weave a spell of magic
and dance a web of air
let us listen to love's music
and let that music always be there.
