Swear By Little Miracles Poem by Christina Simmons

Swear By Little Miracles

The perpetrator child snatcher knew what he was doing
He played a game of cat and mouse - deviously plan to a T. He got the end results he craved after like a bloody vampire creeping in the night

He blindly conned and tricked me into handing my girls over to him on a platter... becoming like mere sacrificial lambs whilst hypnotically he offered me the bait: Sucking and sucking all goodness out of me literally sucked me dry until I became an empty cup with no content

Chorus
Traitor treacherous Casanova wicked soul you are. I saw you as the 'boom ting' Shattered my heart in several pieces sure as hell wounded every part of me; Yes you did, yes you did
I heard you say, women are putty in your hands only big pussies

Is that what we are? The girls and I... toys to be played with Answer me soldier boy? ? ?
There was no doubt I was under a svengali spell totally bewitched: sole purpose was to turn me into an emotional wreck when push came to shove I had no strength to fight for my daughters

I had no other choice but to stand by looking far out and spaced out
With jaw wide open finding the scene before me was somehow unbelievable; Feeling well paralyse glued to the spot and staring into the distance and feeling rather numb
Watching my daughters fade in the darkness - vanishing forever

Several years later my girls are stuck in a bubble as your prisoner
keeping guard of your castle like any other obedient wenches who plays homage to count Dracula whilst at the same time contemplating being trapped and feeling entirely useless like I once felt! Ha-a-a-a-ah! I am free! Like a white dove I'm flying away
