Sweet angel chocolate
Grabbing me by the heart
Allowing me to taste
A part of life I am missing out on.
Melting my heart of stale,
Un-wanting cake
That may look decorative on the outside
But never sweet enough to satisfy ones tastes.
Your delicious cinnamon and caramel
Spreads over me as I soak it in
No telling when I will be sweet again, but
You wait until
There is that sugary coating
Forms both inside and out
And you will always be watching
Me until that day
To make sure no one
Else tries
To eat me
For the sweetness you have helped me be.
