Sweet December - Poem by Jason Lude

As the days go by and you are still sick;
We pray for God to make you well, quicker than quick.
With all your loved ones gathered around,
We sit and wait for God's precious crown.
We all love you Grandma, everyone you know.
Even though it hurts, it's better that you go.
We will all miss you, and pray all day and night.
While you continue to put up a fight.
But then came the thirtee first of december.
Certainly a day I'll always remember.
Fighting against death is the hardest thing to do,
But I guess God couldn't wait any longer for you.
Now you'll see Grandpa, he's waiting for you.
Make sure you say hi for Linda, Jane, Chris, and Sue.
The hardest part about you having to die.
Is building the courage to say good-bye.
Good-bye Grandma I'll Miss You!
Love your Grandson,
Jason Lude.
