Sweet Mother Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

Sweet Mother

Sweet Mother,
How can anyone,
Possibly replace you?
Your loving smile,
The care you gave,
The goodnight kisses,
Your gentle voice,
Your tender love,
Resting now,
In heaven above,
Sweet Mother,
You meant the world to me,
If only I could see you now,
How wonderful that would be,
In death we are apart,
But you are always with me,
Here in my heart.
