Sweet Serendipity Poem by Mark Heathcote

Sweet Serendipity

I love you,
Oh, the sound of the sea,
The sun on my skin,
Oh, I love you, my sweet Serendipity.

Dear, tell me where we'll be tomorrow.
Will we be shells on a beach?
Surf on a wave going back out to sea.
Dear, tell me where we'll be.

Oh, as long as I can hear your voice,
Darling, my sweet Serendipity
And feel the sun on my skin.
I don't care where we go.

I don't care to know another moment.
Where I'm alone,
Darling, my sweet Serendipity,
Oh, with you, I will always dream-

Of the stars, the salt spray of the sea,
The sun is soaking my skin.
Soaking me in radiant gold,
Oh, a sweet Serendipity is with me, unsung, untold.
