I was thinking through my nose
For I breathed your fragrance but couldn't find you close,
Maybe it was only a sweet reverie
Which took me closer to you, albeit briefly.
I then sat thinking with an engrossed head
Lounging on a chair besides the bed,
My wakeful thoughts went to you like a bridge
I craned my neck like an ostrich.
So let me tell you one thing dear
Without pride or prejudice or any fear,
This is how my mind works
With you not near it dazzles me like a sudden firework!
